Enjoy the Celebration and the Adventure

PAINTING A LANDSCAPE IS EMBRACING A SENSE OF PLACE. IT IS NOT SIMPLY THE VISUAL BUT EXPRESSING A DEEPER EXPERIENCE EXPLORING THE LEVELS OF NATURE’S REVELATION, A CELEBRATION OF  THE MOMENT IN COLOR, CONTOUR AND CONTRAST.

My paintings and drawings are a celebration of the Piedmont Region of Georgia, a land that lies between Mountains and Coastal Plain. The Piedmont is not made of grand vistas  and large expanses. It’s a intimate landscape of red clay and granite that shapes it’s people with mild winters and brutal summers.
